Legacy High School swim team staying afloat

Wickenburg Christian Academy high school swim team continues to stay near the top of the standings in last week’s third CAA Swim Series at McClintock High School.

Official times and events are as follows:

• Boys 200 yard medley relay, fourth place, 2:12.50. (Aaron Armstrong, Ben Armstrong, Mark Blodgett, Elliot Offner).

• Rilyn Savage, freshman: girls 50 yard freestyle, fifth place, 30.68; girls 100 yard freestyle, fifth place 1:11.99; girls 100 yard backstroke, seventh place, 1:26.74.

• Aaron Armstrong, senior: boys 50 yard freestyle, fifth place, 26.06; boys 50 yard butterfly, ninth place, 29.92.

• Ben Armstrong, junior: boys 50 yard freestyle, 29.39; boys 100 yard breaststroke, ninth place, 1:23.90.

• Mark Blodgett, freshman: boys 100 yard backstroke, ninth place, 1:21.16; boys 50 yard freestyle, 28.65.

• Elliot Offner, freshman: boys 50 yard freestyle, 30.52.

• Caleb Armstrong, seventh grade: boys 14 and under 100 yard individual medley, eighth place, 1:37.61; boys 14 and under 50 yard freestyle, 41.38; boys 14 and under 50 yard breaststroke, 50.14.
