Wickenburg Wahoos post multitude of top 10 wins

Wickenburg Wahoo swimmers TJ Webster, Nola Stanley and Luke Hackett.

The Wickenburg Wahoos swim team competed at the 11 and over Finals event on Thursday July 18 at Litchfield YMCA.

Swimmers placing in the top 10 of their event  are listed as follows:

• Victoria Gonzalez, Braden Dickinson, Gabrian Myers, David Oskin, Easton Forbrook, Tatym Newman, Caleb Hadley, Jenny Blodgett, Luke Hackett.

Medal winners (first - fourth place):

 • 13-14 Girls IM - Rilyn Savage - fourth place.

 • 15-18 Girls IM -  Emmy Forbrook - fourth place.

 • 11-12 Mixed 200 Free Relay - Jacquelyn Garner, Miley Heuser, Calden Dickinson, and Jaxon Newman - second place.

 • 13/14 Girls 200 Free Relay - Olivia Hackett, Morgan Mason, Rilyn Savage, and Lindsay Webb - fourth place.

• 13-14 Girls 50 Butterfly - Olivia Hackett - fourth place.

 • 13-14 Girls 50 Backstroke - Rilyn Savage - second place.

• 13-14 Girls 50 Breaststroke - Lindsay Webb -  first place.

• 15-18 Girls 50 Breaststroke - Emmy Forbrook - first place.

• 11-12 Girls 50 Yard Freestyle - Jacquelyn Garner - fourth place

• 11-12 Boys 50 Yard Freestyle - Calden Dickinson - fourth place.

• 13-14 Girls 50 Yard Freestyle - Rilyn Savage - fouth place.

• 15-18 Girls 100 Yard Freestyle - Emmy Forbrook - third place.

• 11-12 Mixed Medley Relay - Jacquelyn Garner, Kamerin Earls, Jaxon Newman, and Calden Dickinson - third place.

• 13-14 Girls Medley Relay - Olivia Hackett, Lindsay Webb, Rilyn Savage, and Morgan Mason - second place.

Overall Trophy (first – third place overall in each age bracket, one boy, one girl)

Emmy Forbrook – third place trophy – 51 points.

The Wahoos competed in the 10 and under Finals on Saturday July 20 at Litchfield YMCA. Swimmers placing in the top 10 of their event:

• 9-10 Girls 25 Butterfly - Jenny Blodgett - third place.

• 9-10 Boys 25 Butterfly - Easton Forbrook - fourth place.

• 7-8 Girls 25 Backstroke - Tatym Newman - second place.

• 9-10 Girls 25 Backstroke - Jenny Blodgett - first place.

• 7-8 Boys 25 Freestyle - Caleb Hadley - third place.

• 9-10 Boys 50 Freestyle - Easton Forbrook - second place.

• 9-10 Boys 50 Freestyle - Braden Dickinson - fourth place.

 • Jenny Blodgett – second place trophy – 48 points.

 •Easton Forbrook – third place trophy – 49 points.

The following swimmers were ranked in the top 10  for the west valley MarWest Swim League which includes: Wickenburg Wahoos, Goodyear Sharks, Buckeye Bullfrogs, Litchfield Lagartos, YMCA Mighty Mahi, Verrado Vitras Swim Club, and Tolleson Tidalwaves.

• 7-8 Girls fourth place – Tatym Newman.

• 7-8 Boys fourth place – Caleb Hadley.

• 9-10 Girls second place – Jenny Blodgett.

9-10 Boys third place – Easton Forbrook.

• ninth place – Braden Dickinson.

• 11-12 Girls seventh place – Jacquelyn Garner

 • 11-12 Boys fifth place – Calden Dickinson.

• 13-14 Girls fifth place – Rilyn Savage.
