On Nov. 15, 2019, Diane Lowe passed away in her home in Phoenix after her battle with cancer. Diane was born on April 15, 1960, in Barstow, Calif., to Carl and Dorothy Lowe. She moved to Wickenburg as a child and attended Wickenburg High School and was a part of the graduating class of ‘78. At the age of 17 she started working in a flower shop and never stopped for the next 42 years. She owned two different flower shops, D&S Flowers in Wickenburg and Lakeside Florist in Sun City West where she did gorgeous work for all occasions.
Diane fought cancer with all she had. She never gave up and always saw the bright side of this terrible disease. Diane loved her family and her community. She was always volunteering in Wickenburg. She served on the Chamber of Commerce, The Wickenburg Film Commission, and the Wickenburg Humane Society to name a few. She also helped save the Saguaro Theater when they had to change over to a digital projector.
Diane is survived by her brother Alan Lowe of Wickenburg; sister JoAnn Holt of Prescott; and her only child, her son, Spenser Lowe, of Phoenix whom she adored and loved more than anything in this world. Diane will be missed but never forgotten.
There will be a celebration of life on Dec. 7 at 10:30 a.m. at Camino Del Sol in Sun City West. There is a GoFundMe account setup to help with the funeral expenses under Funeral Funds for Diane Lowe. You may also donate by writing a check payable to Spenser Lowe and bring it to the service or drop it off at the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce By Friday Dec. 6.
