Robert “Bob” C. Templin, Jr., age 66, passed away on Feb. 5, 2018, at his home in Wickenburg. Bob was born May 29, 1951, in Long Beach, Calif., to Robert and Naomi Templin. He attended Monte Vista Christian School as a boy and was a high school athlete, playing soccer and baseball.

Following his schooling Bob began working for Woolworth Stores and was quickly made manager. His first store was in Marysville, Calif. Over the years he worked in various locations in California, Colorado and Nevada. Bob was with Woolworths until the company closed. He moved to Hawaii in 1989 where he managed several retail shops and later worked as a wholesale representative. Bob enjoyed throwing darts and having a good beer with friends. He was extremely patriotic and seemed to wear something indicative of his patriotism on a daily basis. He was also an avid Denver Broncos fan. In 2014 he and wife Betty came to Arizona, settling in Wickenburg.

He loved the small town atmosphere and the Wickenburg area.
Bob is survived by his wife Betty and son Jeff (Kristina) Templin of Morgan Hill, Calif.; a sister Heather (Mark) Brownlee of San Diego; and grandchildren Scotty and Casey.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Bob on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. at Wickenburg Funeral Home. Friends may offer online condolences at www.wickenburgfuneralhome.com
