NATURAL GAS SHUT OFF TO WICKENBURG

UPDATE AS OF NOON SUNDAY:

Southwest Gas service has been restored to the Wickenburg area.

EARLIER REPORT:

Wickenburg will be deprived of Southwest Gas service due to a puncture in the gas main feeding the town. Earlier today, a vehicle rollover downed a power line and crashed into the gas pipe beneath the line. This resulted in Southwest Gas shutting off the supply and bleeding the line so that it can be repaired. According to Wickenburg Fire Chief Ed Temerowski, who was working the scene of the wreck, as of 9:30 AM on Sunday the pressure was shut off on the gas line for an indefinite period of time.
