The Morristown GFWC will be selling Pie Cards to Village Inn for $15 during the month of December. The cards are good at any Village Inn for any pie, and there is no expiration date. For more information and to purchase a Card, contact GFWC President, Lucy Thompson at 602-292-1674 or any GFWC Member.

Morristown PTSA would like to thank all the parents, family, community and school staff for all the yummy cakes, cookies, cupcakes and pies, along with donations of  tortilla chips, fritos, canned sodas, hot dogs and buns, and nacho cheese sauce for the annual Fall Festival, held Saturday, Nov. 2. A special thank you to Scoutmaster, J.C. Campbell and Boy Scout Troop 299 for setting up and dismantling all the carnival games, to Elizabeth Gomez for organizing the cookie decorating contest, to Tori Kimberly for organizing the petting zoo, and to John Gallagher for his masterful face painting. Events included the all popular bouncy house and cake walk, along with new events added this year, sack races, a petting zoo and a cookie decorating contest. Winners of the cooking decorating contest were: First place, Gracie Weber, Second place, John Gallagher and thirrd place, Delia (last name unknown).

The Morristown Elementary Basketball games have begun. Next games are Wednesday, Dec. 4, (at home) against Aguila at 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, (away) against Canon at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10 (away) against Congress at 4 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 12 (away) against Wickenburg Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. For more information, contact the school at (623) 546-5100.

The Governing Board meeting will be held Monday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. in the Morristown School Library. Parents and community members are always welcome.

The PTSA and Morristown Womens Club are partnering again on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 3:30 p.m. in the school library for the traditional filling and gifting of Christmas treat bags filled with candy and fruit for the Morristown School students and their younger siblings. Volunteers are certainly welcome if you would like to come and help out.

When shopping for the holidays, remember the Morristown PTSA hosts events and fundraisers that help support needed programs and equipment for our school. Here are some ways you can help this holiday season and all year:
