The coaches and student archers of Wickenburg Christian Academy’s Archery Club wrapped up another successful and fun shoot earlier this month at the Everett Bowman Arena. With 165 archers shooting the regular bullseye and 3D events, it was a big event that many of the NASP school in Arizona look forward to each year. Our ever-popular William Tell shot and shooting gallery provided some extra fun as well.

We could not do events like these without lots of help. We are grateful to be able to hold the event at the rodeo grounds, as it is a perfect location for that number of people coming in and out. We would also like to thank Val Gustin from Kona’s Frozen Yogurt, and Clint and Cathy Mack and their Barking Dog food truck, providing concessions throughout the day that were a great hit.

Most importantly, we’d like to thank all those parents, students, and friends who help make our fun shoot a success this year.  Set up takes several hours and many hands, and to run two separate shooting lines plus registration and pay-to-play events takes many more people than we can even list.  We are so grateful for your dedication and hard work in making this fun shoot possible – we truly could not do it without you.
