NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

TOWN OF WICKENBURG

Pursuant to A.R.S. Sections 39-204 and 9-462.04, NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS IS HEREBY GIVEN in the Town of Wickenburg that public hearings will be held relating to the following requested changes in land use regulations:

PAD-19-02: PUBLIC HEARING to receive public comments and consider an application by M3 Companies, LLC for an amendment to the Planned Area Development zoning on parcel numbers 201-06-001G, 201-07-003D, 201-08-023J & 201-02-002N.  If the PAD amendment is approved, the requirement that a wireless communications facility (WCF) obtain a conditional use permit remains unchanged.  In addition:

    In residential districts, WCFs would be permitted in a school recreation field, up to 75’ in height (now 60’); in a residential subdivision open space tract, up to 75’ in height and with a minimum setback of 150’ from any structure (now not permitted); on Town property, up to 75’ in height (now 60’ and a Town license is required); on 69kv electric utility town structures (no change); on an electric utility pole in an electric substation site (no change); and on any State, County or Federal property, up to 75’ in height (now 60’).

    In commercial districts, WCF monopoles would be permitted up to 75’ in height (now 40’); on alternative tower structures, up to 75’ in height (now 60’).

    In multi-family districts, WCF monopoles would be permitted up to 75’ in height (now not permitted); on alternative tower structures, up to 75’ in height (now 60’).

    In resort and recreation districts, WCF monopoles would be permitted up to 75’ in height (now not permitted); on alternative tower structures up to 75’ in height) now not permitted).

    Citizens Participation Meeting on Tuesday, July 16th, 2019, at 5:30 P.M.

    Regular Meeting of the PLANNING & ZONING ADVISORY COMMISSION, on THURSDAY, July 18th, 2019, at 5:30P.M.; AND

    Regular Meeting of the COMMON COUNCIL of the TOWN OF WICKENBURG on MONDAY, August 5th, 2019 at 5:30 P.M.

All hearings and meetings will be held in the Town of Wickenburg Council Chambers located at 155 North Tegner Street.

CUP-19-02: PUBLIC HEARING to receive public comments and consider an application by M3 Companies, LLC for a Conditional Use Permit. The purpose of the permit is to allow for a Wireless Communication Facility to be located on parcel number 201-06-001G, which is in the R1-6 Single Family Residential zoning district. The site for the proposed wireless facility is approximately 1,600 square feet located north of Matthie Ranch Road and west of Highway 93.  The height will be 75 feet.    If approved, the Conditional Use Permit would allow for the facility and improve the wireless communication ability in the area.
