CBD Emporium opened on W. Wickenburg Way early this year which “makes CBD available to people in need of wellness and relief” according to manager Laura Smith. “CBD Emporium carries the finest brands of CBD and employs a well-educated staff to help the consumer understand organic health and the non-psychoactive nature of alternative medicine. This is achieved by focusing on education and information about the medicinal use of hemp,” Smith said. According to the CBD Emporium website, “Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of hemp, a plant with a rich history as a medicine, which goes back thousands of years. Today, CBD is a safe, non-addictive/non-intoxicating substance, and has medicinal benefits such as anti-epileptic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial properties.” CBD Emporium’s products also include CBD supplements such as creams, capsules, vape pens and tinctures. (Tinctures are liquid extracts made from herbs that are taken orally.) Smith said, “Our goal is to inform, educate and guide our clientele to better health and wellness through CBD.” CBD Emporium offers free seminars every Wednesday and a free club membership for savings.
