Business over Breakfast

Chamber Members are invited to join us on Wednesday, July 17 from 8 – 9 a.m at UMB Bank.  This event is a great way to meet other Chamber members and make new connections.  Meet bank representatives, learn about services, chamber programs, activities and additional speaker share.

Community is what brings people together, and for Wickenburg residents, there is no better way to become a part of your community than by volunteering at this year’s annual heritage events.

Fiesta de Septiembre starts off the season with great entertainment, contests, kid’s zone, food and drink and Hispanic families’ photo exhibit.

Conscious of the heat, for our Sept. 7 Fiesta de Septiembre, volunteers are being sought to work just two-hour shifts, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday. Other events follow with many shifts to cover for: Wickenburg Fly-In & Classic Car Show, Bluegrass in November, Cowboy Christmas Poetry Gathering, & Christmas Light Parade in December, and our signature event 72nd Annual Gold Rush Days & Rodeo, Feb. 7-9, 2020.  “When you live in a community, you really need to give back to your community,” says Chamber President Brent McKeever. “You owe something to your community when you live there, and volunteering is a good, easy way to do that.”

New Teachers

The Wickenburg Chamber Education Committee will again host a luncheon to welcome new teachers to our school district.  New teachers will be introduced to our committee at the luncheon on Monday, July 15 at noon.  Members are providing information, coupons, items for over 100 district personnel bags when they arrive back the week of July 29.  For details about our “Back to School” Teacher Bag, please call chamber staff for amount of items and deadline.
