Small Business Development Center

Meet Karen Eads, business analyst with SBDC Yavapai College, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26.  She will provide information about all the services available from SBDC and the Small Business Administration to small and home-based businesses, and entrepreneurs. This is free to the public.

Welcome WHS Alumni

Wickenburg Art Club

A free artist demonstration courtesy of the Wickenburg Art Club is scheduled for 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 in the Desert Caballeros Western Museum’s Learning Center. Art Club member Susan Moehring will demonstrate her use of pastels in creating colorful paintings. The demonstration is free to the public. The museum is offering free family activities from 5-7 p.m. every first Friday of the month from October through April. On Oct. 4, the museum and Wickenburg Humane Society will team up to present “Pumpkins, Puppies, and Popcorn on the Porch.” Attendees will paint pumpkins, visit with pets available for adoption, and snack on popcorn while enjoying the fall weather on the museum’s front porch. Activities are free for all ages.  Friends of Music proudly presents MacDougal Street West, a Peter, Paul, and Mary tribute band, at 7 p.m. Oct. 4. This fundraising event will be held in the Wickenburg Community Center and kicks off the new Friends of Music season.
