The Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center is proud to welcome Stephanie Mastores, O.D., to the practice’s popular Wickenburg Office.

Dr. Mastores will work closely with founder and Medical Director Emilio M. Justo, M.D., to oversee routine to complex vision care for patients close to home.

Patients will continue to see Dr. Justo as their surgeon for procedures including customized cataract surgery and both upper and lower eyelid surgery.

“We are thrilled to introduce the talent, excitement and dedication Dr. Mastores is bringing to our growing practice,” Dr. Justo said. “Dr. Mastores stands out as an accomplished optometrist, including her honor in 2016 as an Optometrist of the Year by the Arizona Optometric Association.”

“She has a huge heart and is truly dedicated to serving the Wickenburg community and ensuring residents receive top vision care and vision education,” Dr. Justo continued.

Mastores hails from Ohio, where she attended optometry school at Ohio State University.

She says she has fallen in love with Arizona’s beauty and community, after completing externships at the Whiteriver Indian Health Hospital and the Southern Arizona Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Tuscon.

Mastores is also active in community service, and is a member of Volunteers for Optometric Service to Humanity, which provides eye exams to underprivileged families throughout the world.

“I have big goals in providing the best care to the beautiful city of Wickenburg,” Mastores said. “Vision is an important measure in having a great quality of life. It is important to me to get to know the community, to educate and empower each resident, so that we are all acting together as advocates for a beautiful life in a gorgeous city.”

Dr. Mastores’ first day in Wickenburg will be Feb. 26. For more information or to make an appointment, call (623) 975-2020.
