Wintery tunes welcome holidays with harmony

The Webb Center is delighted to host the world-class musicians of the Wizards of Winter and Canadian Brass for two distinct holiday concerts.

The Wizards of Winter will hit the Webb Center stage on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m. Featuring 11 artists, many of whom are former members of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, the Wizards of Winter will deliver a holiday-fueled production showcasing soaring vocal harmonies, precision strings and guitars, powerful percussion and stunning keyboard work.

Audiences will journey on a musical sleigh ride as the Wizards of Winter create an unforgettable holiday story, evoking the spirit of Christmas with a medley of classic holiday tunes and original progressive-influenced rock music.

Tickets to The Wizards of Winter The Christmas Dream on Sunday, November 24 start at $40 and are $5 for youth 18 and under.

On Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. brass ensemble Canadian Brass will return to the Webb Center for the third time.

Renowned for their genre-bending versatility including classical, pop and jazz, and their performances, award-winning Canadian Brass will fill the holiday season with festive songs. Their repertoire celebrates new original compositions, such as “Doves in December,” as well as Christmas favorites like the “Nutcracker Suite” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”

The group is made up of five extraordinary talents possessing technical skills, creativity, good humor and a genuine love of performing that has become their hallmark.
