The Wickenburg Art Center is open for evening classes. Thursday nights are open to the community with a series of beginning art classes in different mediums, August through October.

Wednesday Nights for Veterans is beginning Sept. 4. This is a new free class to encourage local veterans to explore creative abilities they may know or suspect are there. Giving art a chance is a way to find out. For veterans who aren’t sure where to begin, WAC is holding a Veterans open house at the art center from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21. Meet other vets, artists and instructors from the art center. Refreshments will be served.  These classes and art supplies were made available to the Veterans by donation from the Wellik Foundation.

For further information contact Delphia Gough at or (928) 671-0231 or email Linda McNulty at For further information, go to the art center’s website: Veterans classes begin twice a month beginning Sept. 4.
