Valencic joins Hacienda Salon

Local woman, wife, and mother Patty Valencic recently received her degree from Empire Beauty College and has entered the business world, joining Hacienda Hair Salon.
Valencic is a 1998 graduate of Wickenburg High School. She and her husband Chris have three children. She said that she has always wanted to be a cosmetologist and recently decided to enter the profession and business world.
“I always wanted to do this,” said Valencic. “When I was young I started by chopping off my Barbie’s hair. Throughout high school I would cut and style my friends hair and they said that I was really good. I love the work because I love meeting new people and hearing everyone’s tales.”
“Everyone has a story,” continued Valencic. “Growing up in a small town, I know almost everyone, and it’s great to keep acquainted and hear their stories. I also love to help them look great and feel better about themselves. I also love the ability to be creative, especially with color.”
Valencic does hair for women, children, and men. Her hours at the salon are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 9 a.m. till she is finished, which is usually late in the day or early evening.
