‘Radar Roy’ becomes a business coach

Roy Reyer is the ‘Amazing Internet Coach’

Wickenburg area resident and entrepreneur Roy Reyer recently started another new business with the goal of passing on his unique knowledge of electronic commerce to others. “Radar Roy” has become the “Amazing Internet Coach.”

When successful business people sell their businesses, they often retire to their hobbies and Reyer has them, including flying and riding his Harley. But he has a heart for e-commerce and wants to help others be successful. Consequently he developed the website www.amazinginternetcoaching.com and is now active on the lecture and meeting circuit telling others about his story and how they can be successful in e-commerce.

Business coaching is one of the hottest concepts in consulting, and Reyer is quickly proving that he can help companies be successful in Internet business. He is using what he learned with Radarbusters and Wickenburg Web and discovering unique ways to help others in e-commerce.

Reyer’s early career in law enforcement taught him many important skills about leadership and management, which he successfully combined with his interest in and knowledge of computers and the Internet. He founded Wickenburg Web and successfully designed several e-commerce Web sites for area business people.

Reyer was pleased to earn a fee for Web design but noted the success that his clients were having in their retail businesses. Recognizing the opportunity, he did some quick brainstorming of his own talents and decided to capitalize on his knowledge of law enforcement techniques. He registered the name Radarbusters.com and instantly became “Radar Roy,” the expert on radar detectors and similar merchandise.

While the business grew, Reyer recognized the need to better understand search engines and how to best maximize the potential of his Web site. He remembered a key principle he learned in undercover law enforcement work about watching his competition and studied all he could about certain companies.

“In several months I was making $2,000 extra a month while only working two hours a day,” said Reyer. “I thought that I had it made. Then in a couple of years the competition started into the marketplace with their new Web sites entering into the search directories each day, and I watched my profit margins eroding.”

“I received a phone call and the person promised first place position in all the search engines in 30 days for only $10,000, money back guarantee. I figured what did I have to lose? Just as he predicted, 30 days later I was in first place position and the phones were ringing off the hook!”

With the success of Radarbusters, the competition obviously wasn’t happy. In his somewhat bold and forward manner Reyer suggested that they either sue him or buy him out. One or two unsuccessfully tried the former. Last year one made Reyer an offer he couldn’t refuse and Radarbusters is now housed in the Midwest and no longer owned by Radar Roy.

Reyer can be contacted at 41914 N. 251 Ave., Morristown and 623-203-6117.
