It’s going to be a “Kick Up Your Heels Year” at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum!
To start it off, the Museum is opening the chutes to their newest exhibit “Rodeo: A Wild Ride”.
Featured in the show are Wickenburg’s own rodeo stars Everett Bowman, Ed Bowman, Ruby Gobble, the Custer brothers, and Russ Dolven to name a few. The chutes are full of historic rodeo gear and vintage rodeo wear, and the famously historic pair of Levi’s straight from the Levi Strauss Corporate Archive Collections in San Francisco. Come on down to the Museum for a few fixins with special guest Lewis Bowman, nephew of Ed and Everett Bowman.
Chutes open this Friday (Sept. 26) from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $10 for Desert Caballeros Western Museum members, $20 for non-members.
