Mothers of Preschoolers to meet
Attention mothers of children between the ages of birth and 5 years old - there is a group of women that gets together twice a month to share the joys and trials of motherhood.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a group that gives mothers time with other mothers to build friendships, enjoy creative activities, participate in discussions relevant to this stage in life and receive much needed encouragement.
The group meets 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. every first and third Thursday of the month at the Hart Center across from Calvary Baptist Church in Wickenburg starting Sept. 18. Childcare is provided during the meetings by loving and caring women of local churches at no cost. MOPS will have its kickoff picnic at Coffinger Park Thursday (Sept. 4) starting at 9:30 a.m. There will be good food, fun games, a bounce house for the children, and great fellowship with other moms. It is a great way to meet other mothers, set up play dates and just relax.
