Fiesta de Septiembre coming, celebrating hispanic heritage
By Julie Brooks
Executive Director
20th Annual Fiesta de Septiembre Sept. 6
This annual event recognizing our Hispanic Heritage is just around the corner. Applications are available for the Salsa and Margarita Contests. Chairman Darlene Dowdy and her committee are gearing up for another terrific time with these two unique contests. Space is also available for arts/crafts, retail and informational booths during the fiesta. The Chamber is producing a 160-page book on the Pioneer Hispanic Family Photographs that have been collected over the last 18 years. The book will be printed in the next few months and delivered in December just in time for Christmas presents. Orders will be taken at the Fiesta and available online after Sept. 6.
Get ready for one of our colorful cultural heritage events.
