Chamber seeks instructors for ‘Brown Bag Seminar Series’

We are looking for enthusiastic speakers to share their business expertise for our returning Brown Bag Seminar Series. Share insight on any of these topics: Advertising, Accounting, Business Basics, Human Resources, Money Management, Payroll, and Website Design. Have other topic ideas? Share your knowledge and help educate Wickenburg businesses to be the best they can be. Once speakers are confirmed, classes will begin in June, each week a new topic will lead the networking lunch. Wickenburg outdoor book
It’s a perfect time to purchase our local Wickenburg Outdoor Adventures book, authored by Christine Maxa, with photographs by David James. The book is available from local merchants and from the Chamber office. Many residents and visitors are enjoying the spring weather by hiking and riding horseback around, and having a look at the spectacular desert…Out Wickenburg Way!

Thursday, April 17 is the first Morning Mixer of 2008, hosted by the Desert Caballeros Western Museum from 8 to 9:10 a.m. in the new Klein Pavilion. Business After Hours Mixer
Please join us on Thursday, April 24 for the monthly Mixer hosted by My Father’s Retirement Ranch, Cowles and Armstrong families. It is a perfect time to visit the Ranch during spring and see new housing opportunities and more. The mixer is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Enjoy food and drink, visit with our hosts, and network with other chamber members. Cost is $5 per person. Chamber members and guests are invited.
