It's time once again for Camp Imagination registration! Registration will begin on Monday, May 7 with an open-enrollment event at the Webb Center from 5 to 7 p.m. Registration will continue until either May 25 or the maximum of 120 students is reached.
Camp Imagination is an annual summer camp produced by the Del E. Webb Center for the Performing Arts. The K-12 students receive training in a variety of performing arts areas (including drama, vocal, dance) as well as niche areas including filmmaking and technical theater. The Webb Center will once again collaborate with the Desert Caballeros Western Museum to offer visual arts classes.
All students participate in the creation of a musical; this year's selection is Honk, Jr. - an adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's tale of the ugly duckling. Camp will run from June 4-15 with a public performance of Honk, Jr. on the final evening.
For details and registration information, contact the Webb Center Box Office at 684-6624 or www.delewebbcenter.org. The cost is $80 for the first student in a family and $65 for each additional student.
