‘Pars for Paws' this Saturday

Golfers are still being sought for this week's “Pars for Paws” golf tournament to benefit the Humane Society of Wickenburg.

The event is taking place at the Wickenburg Country Club golf course Saturday (April 11) and will begin at 1 p.m. Interested parties can still sign up for the event.

Participants can vie for a $500 door prize, or a $10,000 golf membership during a live auction. There is also expected to be a large number of items available during a silent auction.

This is the Humane Society's first-ever benefit golf tournament, and all proceeds will go toward the Society's building fund.

A four-person scramble will take place and the costs to play in the benefit are $75 (includes green fees, cart, reception, and prizes) for a single player, $275 for a classic foursome, $100 each to sponsor a tee box, and $350 (includes foursome and tee box sponsor) for a classic sponsor.
