In a bold move to differentiate itself from other dealerships, the Jones Auto Centers have introduced a limited lifetime power train warranty for used vehicles. This covers the failure of the vehicle's engine, transmission, and drive train. This warranty is for the life of the vehicle as long as it was purchased at Jones with less than 100,000 miles. Most importantly the warranty is completely free.
“We wanted to do something different and something that would both bring Valley people into Wickenburg and also cause Wickenburg people to shop locally,” said Jones Ford-Mercury Chrysler Jeep General Manager Brian Jones. “This is catastrophic protection. It protects the buyer for the life of the vehicle as long as we do the factory recommended service and preventative maintenance.”
“Normally a used car or truck might carry a three-month or three thousand mile limited warranty,” continued Jones. “This protects the most expensive parts of the vehicle from failure, and it is completely free to the customer. The warranty covers the drive train, transmission, and engine block, heads, and all other internally lubricated parts.”
The warranty covers both foreign and domestic vehicles with gasoline engines sold by Jones. While the vehicles must be serviced by Jones as long as the buyer lives within 35 miles of one of the many Jones locations throughout the Valley, if the buyer lives outside that area other arrangements can be made for service.
“To my knowledge nobody else in the state offers anything like this,” said Jones. “By being completely free it offers great value and protection to the buyer of a used car.”
The local Jones dealership is located at 781 W Wickenburg Way and can be reached at 684-5481.
