Home care organization spreads to Wickenburg

The Synergy HomeCare franchisee located in Sun City has recently expanded its services into the Wickenburg market by hiring a local individual to head up the region. He is now in the process of hiring caregivers and pairing them with clients.
According to entrepreneur and business owner David Cogan, the U.S. Administration on Aging reported that people ages 65 and up currently represent 12.4 percent of the population, and that number is expected to grow to 20 percent by the year 2030.
“With Baby Boomers aging, the demand for elder care is going to soar,” said Cogan. “Yet, it's still an industry lacking professional standards. That's what Synergy HomeCare is trying to change.”
“We provide high-quality, non-medical home care to people in their homes,” continued Cogan. “With more than 100 caregivers working for Sun City's Synergy, we are available on an hourly, daily, weekly or 24/7 basis, 365 days per year to seniors, the convalescing or disabled and anyone else who needs help with daily activities.”
Local Wickenburg area resident and experienced businessman Don Baker is managing the Wickenburg region. He is already out in the field interviewing and assessing clients as well as interviewing caregivers.
“I'm excited to bring Synergy to Wickenburg and see nothing but steady growth to the business,” said Baker. “We are set up with a system where potential clients can call any time of the day or night to request a caregiver, and Synergy HomeCare responds. The company has spent years in the creation, development and application of its ‘quick-response' service.”
Whether warranted by an emergency or if they are convalescing, the company says that most people prefer to remain in the comfort, privacy, and familiarity of their homes. Oftentimes, the only barrier to staying at home is finding adequate non-medical care.
Such needs apply not only to seniors, but also to wide-ranging situations such as an expectant mother who might need assistance with everyday tasks, an athlete sidelined by a serious injury or a worker hurt on the job and recovering at home.
