Little Red Schoolhouse welcomes Santa Claus
Santa Claus arrives at the Garcia Little Red Schoolhouse immediately following the 11th Annual Christmas Parade of Lights.
The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening (Dec. 8) at the Wickenburg Christian Academy. The parade travels down Yavapai Street to Frontier Street, then it turns on Coconino and Tegner.
Everyone is invited to come and enjoy cookies, hot cider, and the Community Chorus singing songs of the season following the parade.
Parade floats and entries will be joining Santa's sleigh in the schoolhouse parking lot. Children are encouraged to bring their lists for Santa and parents are encouraged to bring their cameras for pictures.
The parade is sponsored by Arizona Public Service and the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce. The chamber will be presenting its awards for the best entries during the party.
