Free spay/neuter deadline approaching
Applications for free spay and neutering services provided by the Humane Society of Wickenburg are still available. However, the deadline to submit an application for the service is July 1.
The Society will host a free spay/neuter clinic for pets of low-income families of Wickenburg on Wednesday, July 12.
The free clinic is made possible by a grant from the Vi Wellik Foundation, and a number of approved dogs and cats (up to two per household) will receive free surgeries.
In order to qualify their pets for free spaying and/or neutering, according to the grant, applicants must live in Wickenburg. Applications must be submitted to the Humane Society of Wickenburg by Saturday, July 1.
Those wishing to receive an application can call the Humane Society at 684-8801, or applications can be printed from the Humane Society's Web site at www.wickenburghumane.org.
