Investigators in Yavapai County continue to search for clues regarding a missing 18-year-old Congress man who disappeared on Sunday, Oct.16 after an argument took places at a friend's home.
Travis Weston Riddle has not been seen in more than 10 days, and search and rescue operations have been called off. Yavapai County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) deputies and investigators remain on the case.
Riddle is described as a white male, five feet seven inches tall and 130 pounds, with short blonde hair and blue eyes. He has pierced earlobes.
Riddle's vehicle and a pair of his shoes have been found on a dirt road northwest of Congress, but authorities do not suspect criminal activity at this time.
“We are not at a stage to say we suspect foul play,” said YCSO spokesperson Scott Reed. “Let's just say there have not been any obvious indications of foul play.”
According to YCSO officials, Riddle did not take his wallet or any other personal items with him when he left his friend's house, and he has not shown up for work.
Riddle's vehicle was found four days after he went missing, and several days later his shoes were found near the area where the vehicle was located. Reed said it appeared as if the shoes were placed in an area that had previously been searched.
The YCSO is urging anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Riddle to call 928-771-3260 or the Yavapai Silent Witness at 800-932-3232.
