US 93 lane closures expected to delay traffic south of Wikieup

Wickenburg residents with travel plans on U.S. 93 should expect delays of up to 15 minutes south of Wikieup on Thursday, Oct. 17.

Arizona Department of Transportation officials say north- and southbound lanes are scheduled for closure from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. from south of Signal Road to south of Burro Creek Bridge (mileposts 133-142).

The restrictions are necessary so crews can place a sealant over the existing asphalt, which will help protect and extend the life of the highway pavement, according to ADOT.

Motorists are reminded to use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
