Bob Jones, a Wickenburg Ranch resident, announced that he has launched a new web site effective Dec. 12, 2019 to serve as a public service to the community to help local organizations find volunteers for their programs. Now residents will be able to go to one local site and be linked to the specific volunteer pages of several local organizations needing volunteers. It becomes a one stop shopping experience according to Jones.
After moving to Wickenburg 1 1⁄2 years ago, Jones found it difficult to find volunteer opportunities. He decided to launch the site so residents can now go to one place without doing Google searches for each organization. No more clicking on various sites and pages to try and find organizations looking for volunteers.

The site costs including domain name registration and web hosting are being paid for by Jones as a way of giving back to the community to help find people that want to volunteer their time in areas they are passionate about. Jones himself is a member of the Wickenburg PD Citizens Patrol program which is one of the featured organizations.

Available Links has linkage agreements in place with these local organizations allowing the free use of their local volunteer pages: Town of Wickenburg, Citizens Patrol Wickenburg Police Department, Wickenburg Community Hospital, Wickenburg Unified School District #9, Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce, Humane Society of Wickenburg, Del Webb Center for the Performing Arts, Desert Caballeros Western Museum and K9 Konnection.

More local organizations will be added in the future.
Those interested in having their contact info on a database can also go to the site and provide that information. That info can be forwarded to organizations looking for those specific interests.
