Join Preserve Supervisor and former archaeologist Jessica Bland Friday, Jan. 17, for an easy, guided walk on the Preserve trails from 10 - 11:30 a.m. to learn about the rich and fascinating history of the area. Those who are interested in volunteering for the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department or at the Hassayampa River Preserve are welcome to attend a volunteer orientation at the preserve Friday, January 24, from noon - 1 p.m. The orientation will go over the variety of volunteer opportunities available and what is involved with volunteering with Maricopa County Parks.
