Shane Morin, of San Tan Valley is known for being a happy guy behind the chutes, and by the looks of the smile on his face, he also loves a good bareback riding challenge as he struggles to stay on Brown Bomber, a three-time New Mexico Rodeo Association Bareback Bronc of the Year. Brown Bomber won this round on Saturday during the Gold Rush Days rodeo.

In addition to National Senior Pro Rodeo competitors, younger cowboys were invited to test their skill against the W/A Rodeo Company’s rough stock in the “open rodeo.” Results from the open competition during Gold Rush Days are:
