Make a difference on Dec. 3 by donating to Wickenburg Community Hospital (WCH) Foundation and help renovate the hospital’s emergency department.  “This vital need is driven by significant increases in the number of medical emergencies over the past five years”, said Jim Tavary, president and CEO of Wickenburg Community Hospital.  The project will  renovate clinical space in the emergency department and adjacent non-clinical space and add a new emergency walk-in entrance, registration, and triage area.

Renovation began early May with the completion of the new emergency walk-in entrance and registration area late September. Completion of the project is expected by the end of the year.

WCH Foundation kicked off a $1.1 million capital campaign at the beginning of 2019, according to Foundation Executive Director Brenda Crissman. The campaign has raised over $815,000 and all donations received now thru March 31, 2020, will be doubled by way of a matching grant from the Wellik Foundation.

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a day that encourages people to do good and is a global movement referring to the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to inspire charitable giving. Visit www.wickhosp.com/givingtuesday or make checks payable to WCH Foundation, 520 Rose Lane Wickenburg, AZ 85390.
