Volunteers ages 14 and older who are in good physical condition are needed from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. to trim overgrowth, repair eroded sections and replace sign decals along the trail.

Volunteers are asked to meet at 8:30 a.m. for carpooling in the Chaparral Ice Cream parking lot, 472 E. Wickenburg Way, or at 9 a.m. at Sophie’s Flat trailhead, 1.4 miles west on Blue Tank Road from Constellation Road NW. Specific directions to the trailhead can be found at wickenburgtrails.org.

Bring a hat, gloves, sunglasses, water, snacks, and wear sturdy shoes, long-sleeved shirts and pants suitable for hiking on desert trails. Tools are provided but additional loppers are needed.
